David
Hey, did you see what I found in the old library today?
Sara
No, what was it? Something mysterious?
Eli
Old library? You mean that place everyone avoids?
David
Exactly! But I found a really ancient artifact there, with a symbol I didn’t recognize.
Sara
A symbol? What did it look like?
David
Flat, with strange engravings. Like some ancient text in a language no one understands.
Eli
Sounds like something we should be careful with. Are you sure it’s not dangerous?
David
I don’t know yet. But when I held it, I felt something strange happening in my head.
Sara
What do you mean? Was it good or bad?
David
Not clear. Maybe some kind of power inside it.
Eli
Okay, maybe we should all meet this afternoon and talk about it more.
Sara
I agree, we have to figure out what it is and what we can do with it.
David
Let’s meet at my place at 2 PM. Don’t miss it.
Eli
Honestly, it creeps me out. Why do we always end up finding things we probably should’ve left alone?
Sara
Because we’re curious, definitely. But maybe this time we should be extra careful.
David
Right, and just so you know—if this affects our memories, that could be really dangerous.
Eli
What do you mean? How would it relate to our memories?
David
When I held the artifact today, I had this vague feeling that something from my past was fading. Like a memory was starting to slip away.
Sara
That’s scary. Are you sure it wasn’t just your imagination?
David
No, it felt real. Later when I touched it again, I felt like I was losing something important to me.
Eli
This is no joke anymore. What if it actually harms us?
Sara
Then what do we do? We shouldn’t try to use it again until we know more.
David
I agree. But here’s an idea—maybe the library or the local archive can help us understand the symbol.
Eli
Alright, let’s meet at 7 PM today, check the artifact together, and try to decode what it really is.
Sara
Does the archive even open nowadays? I thought it’s been shut for years.
David
I asked around today. Heard they got a new key holder, maybe we can get access.
Eli
I’m nervous and excited at the same time. If this can erase memories… why not erase bad secrets too?
Sara
But without knowing the consequences, it’s dangerous. What if our memories, even painful ones, are part of who we are?
David
Honestly? I think Dad had memories he wished he could forget too.
Eli
That breaks my heart. We’re dealing with something much bigger than an old artifact—a power that could change us completely.
Sara
So what now? We don’t use it until we know for sure?
David
We agreed to meet again. But be careful—something about this, something mysterious, could change everything without us even realizing it.
Next episode: When memories can be erased, what remains of a person? Next, the friends face a whirlwind of secrets they never knew existed.
